Abec South – Window Installation & Testing SeminarĀ
Window installations are required to resist water penetration at certain air pressure differences based on the specified local driving rain wind pressure. Performance of any window or wall system is not only a function of the component itself, but also of proper installation, rigidity of the supporting construction, and other site-specific factors. Window testing can be completed at various stages of the window installation, including prior to interior finish installation, prior to occupancy, as part of diagnostics and leak detection, or near the end of the glazing service life. Join ABEC South in this seminar to review window testing requirements followed by live window installation and spray rack testing. The learning objectives include understanding the applicability and background of the test and how to identify critical window failure points.
The seminar will be followed by a plant tour of Centra Windows.
