What is Construction Adjudication and How it Applies to Building Envelope Projects Prompt Payment AND Construction Adjudication.
Prompt Payment has been in force for some time now with a fair bit of discussion surrounding the Prompt Payment portion. However, how many of us know about Prompt Payment but don’t know much about the Construction Adjudication process that is part and parcel with it? As one of only a handful of registered and practicing construction adjudicators in Alberta, Johnathon Bain, P.Eng., Q.Adj.(Const). has been on the forefront of construction adjudications in Alberta. In this presentation, Johnathon will speak to:
- What is construction adjudication and how does it differ from other dispute resolution methods?
- What does a construction adjudication process look like?
- Who should consider construction adjudication?
- Discuss the application of construction adjudication to projects building envelope consultants typically are involved in.
